We're Here to Help
The multifaceted responsibilities of adulthood can present significant challenges. When individuals encounter feelings of dissatisfaction, persistent worry, or emotional exhaustion, talk therapy provides a structured environment for processing these experiences. Coping Matters help adults facilitate the development of sustainable skills to navigate life's transitions with enhanced clarity, resilience, and equilibrium.
Navigating adolescence today presents its own set of unique and complex challenges and stressors. While young people have always struggled with feeling misunderstood, today's teens must manage the pressures of digital technology, complex social dynamics, and intensified academic demands and expectations in a world of constant connectivity and information. At Coping Matters, we offer a safe, supportive, and judgement-free space where adolescents can build their resiliency and confidence to navigate these modern pressures effectively.
Young children are constantly expressing their needs and emotions to the adults in their lives, demonstrating both vulnerability and remarkable resilience. At Coping Matters, we use therapeutic approaches like play therapy to assist children and families in developing effective strategies and skills for managing complex emotions, reducing behavioral challenges, and strengthening problem-solving abilities across various settings.
We support families in addressing conflicts and current concerns by teaching practical skills that strengthen communication, foster empathy, and reduce both visible and underlying barriers that may be affecting overall family functioning and harmony.
Our practice plans to offer psychoeducational and skill building groups in the future for parents and teens., with a focus on topics such as emotional regulation, social skill development, healthy boundaries, anxiety, and depression.
Our practice currently offers parenting education and skill-building during sessions, both with and without child or teen clients. In the near future, we will also provide court-approved training programs for parents navigating separation and/or divorce.

We collaborate with families and educational institutions to assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plan accommodations, while providing expert consultation on placement decisions. In the near future, we plan to partner with a licensed psychologist to offer intelligence and achievement testing, along with comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
At Coping Matters our therapist rely on ongoing education, training, and clinical experience to assess and treat symptoms associated with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, grief, and other mental health concerns. We provide a secure, compassionate environment, available both in-person and through teletherapy, where clients can effectively process their thoughts and emotions. Our team utilizes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness practices, and psychoeducation to empower individuals to develop healthy, sustainable coping skills.
